Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) is a drought-resistant perennial with high oxidative stability. Its high wax ester content makes it an excellent repair option for skin barrier conditions including seborrheic dermatitis, eczematous dermatitis, and acne. It also has a proven anti-inflammatory effect with potential in wound healing.

Produced from Argania spinosa kernels, argan oil is composed of 80% mono-unsaturated and 20% saturated fatty acids. Daily topical application has been shown to restore barrier function, maintain water-holding capacity, and provide a softening effect. Tocopherol-rich formulations also show potential anticancer activity in early research.
